Perceptive

Angelica Flores, my sister, shared many memories with me. She says, she remember the times we would go downtown with our friend on fourth of July to watch the fireworks and see other people we knew. She remember the fights we seen, musicians, people dancing to earn some money. She remembers the times we would go down there to go shopping and have a sister’s day out. On the other hand she feel as though, Philly is where people want to be welcomed to and visit the beautiful sites we have to offer to tourists. Philly is my hometown but pretty soon I plan to move out to experience something different. Philadelphia has its ups and downs when it comes to the certain areas you are in. Downtown is a beautiful place to hang out with your friends, family or lover. Outside of that, in some areas of Philly, you have to be careful of your surroundings. Where I’m from, North Philly, it is a bit dangerous. In many areas of North Philadelphia, you will see abandon houses, small houses, dirty streets, homeless people and drug dealers. This is where I’m from but I want to leave so I can live a better life.

Elisa James, my cousin, believes that Philly has potential if parents could keep their children under control and keep them in schools. She believes that this could prevent the crime and teen pregnancy that occurs. If kids are in school and going home from school this could help them from running into any trouble that happens in the streets. She believes that parents should really talk to their children about sex to prevent anymore teen pregnancy. She says that she is pretty sure Philadelphia is like any other city that is as much dangerous as ours. Not all parts of Philly are dangerous but to always be careful wherever you are. Besides the dangerous things people always mention about Philly, she would like people to know that there are beautiful sites and interesting places to see. Philly is a city where you can enjoy yourself and not worry about not having anything to do because there is always something to do.
